When you open the attribute management from the main Products menu, any attributes that have already been created are displayed with their basic settings. (Enabled settings are shown in green.) The list in this menu is shown per attribute, not page by page.

When you open an attribute using the Edit button (or click Create new), a pop-up appears showing the detail or maintenance view (empty when creating a new one).

Label defines the attribute name. An attribute code is only required for special systems. The four toggle flags have the following functions:

Update via import = when enabled, attributes and their values per item can be imported and updated via CSV import.

Mandatory = when enabled, this attribute is displayed for every item, even if no attribute value exists.

Searchable = when enabled, this attribute is reported as a filter attribute to connected shop systems.

Exportable = when enabled, this attribute is reported to shop systems (currently only required for Shopware 5 systems).

Note: In this maintenance view, only the attributes themselves are maintained, not the attribute values. Attribute values can only be managed per item in the corresponding detail view or must be stored on the items via CSV attribute import.
