For exporting item texts, a selectable export of all product texts (name, short description, product description) is available.
With the default settings, the texts for all stored sales channels and in all stored channel languages are exported. Once the export has been started and completed, a download link is displayed in the same pop-up and the export can be saved locally.
Each export is also saved in NEKOM’s file archive (Reporting/Monitor/File Explorer) and can be downloaded and saved locally from there as well.
The export is an Excel file (XLSX format) containing the following values:
The respective channel is included in the header row (see example: channel “Demo-Shop1”).
The import of item texts is also performed using an Excel template file. The template can be downloaded from the import pop-up.
NEKOM’s recommendation is to first run an item text export, use the exported file as a template with the items and channels, revise the required texts (per item/channel), and then import this file again after saving the changes.
In the example, the previously exported file was edited, saved, loaded for import, and executed.
The import itself is then executed as a background process. The text assignment is performed per channel and can be viewed in the product detail view (example: item description). In the example, no default description is stored, but a description for the channel “Demo Shop1” has been stored via import.
