For export, a single attribute or all attributes can be exported. After selecting the desired export, please click the Export button.

To complete the export, the provided CSV file can then be saved locally.

In the example, the attribute “Material” was exported.
The exported format can be used directly for subsequent attribute imports.
The pipe characters used as column separators in the export should be changed to a semicolon.
For an attribute import, either UTF-8 or Windows file format can be used. However, the import format must match the file format to avoid issues with umlauts/special characters.
The column separator is again the semicolon, and you can choose whether the import should create new entries, create new entries and update existing ones, or append values. For example, for an attribute like “Keywords”, appending is recommended if the new keywords should be added to the existing ones.
As long as the file header is included, the first row should be skipped during import.

Warning: When importing attributes, make sure the attribute names are spelled exactly the same. If an attribute is not recognized during import, it will be created as a new attribute.
This means: If an existing attribute “Material” is imported with the name “MATERIAL”, you will end up with two separate attributes: “Material” and “MATERIAL”.
