The Nekom app is available as a free download in the Apple App Store for macOS (Mac, MacBook, MacBook Air) and in an iOS-optimized version for iPhone and iPad.

After downloading, please start the app, sign in with your usual user account (all lowercase), and request your PIN. (Desktop app screen)

If logging in with the requested login PIN is not possible right away (user unknown), your user account must be activated for app usage.

Please use the “Register” button at the bottom of the login screen.

Other specifics on the login screen:

• The blue cloud in the top-left shows the currently selected Nekom access. The default access “Nekom” is preselected and applies to most users.
  • Only switch to Nekom02 if Nekom has informed you in advance that this access is required.
• Connect button (top-right): lets you check connectivity to Nekom in advance,
  • for example, if your system can only access Nekom through a firewall with restricted ports.
• Nekom wecare logo (full logo): a longer click on the logo can switch the app’s access between the production system and the Nekom staging system.
  • Please note that the username (and PIN) must exist separately for each system and can only be used separately.
  • A PIN for production does not work on staging.
  • After successful login, the top menu bar appears in blue for production and yellow for the staging environment.

For Android users, the Nekom app is currently available in the Google Play Store as a beta test version:

Menus and functions of the Android Nekom app are identical to the menus and functions of the iOS Nekom app described in this tutorial.

A desktop Nekom app version is also provided for Windows app users, available for download in the Microsoft Store (see screenshot below).
