After starting the NEKOM app, the login screen appears, similar to the Nekom browser login you are already familiar with (see Chapter 1).

After entering your username and clicking Retrieve PIN, registered app users receive the login PIN directly as a push notification on the device. The previously used SMS message is replaced by this push notification. In addition, the login PIN is also sent by email.

After entering the PIN, click Sign in to log in.

Dashboard

After a successful login, the app starts in the dashboard view.

On the first launch of the dashboard, you will also be asked whether you want to enable biometric login.

If your system (desktop or mobile phone or tablet) supports biometric authentication (fingerprint, Face ID, etc.), biometric login can be enabled. This means that for future logins, no PIN request is required. (See screenshot, Settings menu.)

Dashboard, desktop app

In the top blue bar, the short name of the selected or assigned client is shown, as well as the currently selected menu (here: Nekom demo client, Dashboard).

A long click on the currently displayed menu opens a popup showing the currently installed app version number. This is helpful information to include if you contact Nekom Service with questions about a menu.

The burger menu in the top-left can be expanded by clicking it. It then shows the menus with their names. Clicking again reduces the display and shows only the menu icons.

The Home menu returns to the dashboard. As soon as another menu is opened, the Home icon also appears again in the blue bar on the left, so that you can jump back to the Home (Dashboard) menu from any submenu.

The Products menu contains all submenus related to products, for example:
